Veterinary Acupuncture

Veterinary Acupuncture has shown to be a valuable therapy in companion animal health management, and is available at Currents Veterinary Centre.  Dr. Brent Jackson can discuss the benefits of introducing acupuncture therapy to your pet and work with you to design a treatment plan that will meet the special needs of your companion.  New patients are welcome and we encourage you to contact Currents Veterinary Centre if you have any questions or wish to book a consultation.

November is Pet Diabetes Month

November is Pet Diabetes Month – did you know that both cats and dogs can suffer from diabetes? As pets age it is important to monitor your cat or dog for changes in their eating and drinking habits or fluctuations in their weight. Annual veterinary examinations play a key role in the early detection of pet health issues and if your pet has started to drink more water, lose weight, or urinate more frequently (to name only signs associated with Diabetes) it is best to get them checked by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
