Jocelyn

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Jocelyn grew up on a dairy farm where she was always surrounded by all sorts of animals, big and small. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be in the veterinary field. She started working in a veterinary clinic and animal shelter in 2008 while working on her Bachelors of Science degree. Jocelyn graduated from the U of A in 2013, and after that tried a different career path but her desire to work with animals could not be ignored, so she went to Olds College and graduated from the Animal Health Technology program in 2017. She has been happy being a tech ever since and is very excited to be here at Currents Veterinary Centre. Currently Jocelyn has a dog named Tilly and 2 cats, Twiggy and Mable.

Outside of work Jocelyn loves going to the mountains to hike, camp, standup paddle board and ski. She is also interested in gardening and plays the trombone in a community band.
